Newborn sessions are slow and gentle, never rushed. FAQ
What should we wear for our session?
I always suggest wearing something that feels comfortable and true to you. Neutral or earthy tones photograph beautifully and bring out soft, timeless tones, but a pop of color can be wonderful too! Don't stress about matching perfectly; what matters most is that you feel relaxed, confident, and yourself. When you feel good, it always shows in the photos.
What if my home isn't "picture perfect" for a family or newborn session?
It truly doesn't need to be, I'm not looking for perfect spaces. I'm looking for good light and genuine moments. A soft corner by the window, your favorite chair, or a cozy spot on the couch is more than enough. What makes your photos beautiful isn't the background, it's the love and connection that fill the space.
What if my kids don't cooperate during the session?
That's completely okay, and actually very normal! I never expect kids to sit still or smile on command. I simply let them play, explore, and be themselves. Some of the most beautiful photos come from those in-between moments, a laugh, a curious look, a hug. I'll gently guide things so it feels natural and easy for everyone.
How far in advance should we book a session?
I usually recommend booking as early as possible, at least 4-6 weeks in advance, especially during busy seasons like spring and fall. But if you need something sooner, feel free to reach out, I'll always do my best to fit you in.
When will we receive our photos?
You'll receive your fully edited gallery within 2-3 weeks. I carefully hand-edit image to make sure every moment feels true, warm, and timeless. If. you need the photos sooner for a special occasion, just let me know, I'm happy to see what I can do.
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept Zelle, Venmo, and cash. A $50 deposit is required to secure your session date, and the remaning balance is due on the day of the session.
